Contain your water in an easy to pour container that doesn't leak.
Fold your coffee filter twice and place it over the opening of the bottle.
Carefully pour your water into your other water gallon container.
Repeat two more times with a new coffee filter each time.
Set your Crockpot to the highest setting and immediately pour in your water.
Cover your Crockpot with the lid and wait 15 to 60 mins. Once your water reaches a boil, most pathogens have been killed and most debris has already been pre-filtered by your coffee filters.
